$5 Paper Packs

During National Scrapbooking Month in May, you can receive the Free to Be Me paper collection for just $5 with your qualifying purchase of $50. The paper collection features exclusive printed cardstocks, vellums, and B&T Duos™ and, with a retail value of $11.95, is a fantastic deal for products you can’t get anywhere else.

Yes, it is indeed another owl card. I can't seem to stop using this set. It's SO cute and I'm not tired of it yet. Hopefully no one else is either. I used the pattern in Make It From Your Heart Card Pattern #8 and the paper is from the Free to Be Me paper collection. Love this paper!!!

And don't forget about that adorable Stamp of the Month set, You've Got a Friend. With your $50 qualifying purchase, you will also qualify for the May Stamp of the Month for an additional $5 (retail value $17.95)! This means May is the perfect month to double up on promotions, getting the paper collection for $5 and the May Stamp of the Month for $5—that is a savings of nearly $20!

Double duty! I used the stamp "Merci Beaucoup" from the Stamp of the Month for May plus the special paper collection this month, Free To Be Me.

Yeehaw, I just love a good special deal! For more information about this special or to place an order, cruise on over to my website at: http://stampedbyme.ctmh.com.

Balloon Talk

Don't you wish you could see what your owl was thinking? I did . . . so I used the Stamp of the Month, Balloon Talk and made him say, "Hey There." Yes, I do know owls usually say, "Hoot, Hoot," but this one was a chatty dude. Here's the card I made:

Ironically the card set is called Owls and happens to be my favorite stamp set this week. I also used Lollydoodle paper which I like saying as much as I like using it. I like it so much I have gone through 2 paperpacks of it. Cute and versatile.

Another fun thing I made in my stamp studio was the card from the advertisement for the Stamp of the Month. Did you know that there are directions and recipes for each of those darling samples? Here's the link: Card idea instructions. From my website stampedbyme.ctmh.com, click on the "promotions" link and then the option for Stamp of the Month. Then stamp lift away.

Here's my card I created. I thought it would make a great greeting card or birthday or congratulations or . . .

Just wanted to share this very fun stamp set. I love sayings stamp sets and this one is unique and so versatile. Don't miss out though, it's only available until April 30th! :-)

Words, words, words!

The Stamp of the Month for this month, Poster Tidings, was a little hard for me to get used to, I'm not going to lie. Then a friend, Michele P., showed me how to do the different colored words, fast and easy. Here's the card we made while spending a fun day in her Stamp  Studio:
First we stamped the whole autumn stamp in Indian Corn Blue. Then on another piece of Colonial White we stamped the stamp again, concentrating on, "Fall" in Honey, "Family" in Olive, and "Blessed" in Barn Red. Next we cut out only those words. Using a piece of pop up tape, we attached the words over the original Indian Corn Blue words. Presto, the card is stamped in different colors.

Another cool thing about this card is it is made using Baby Cakes, which makes you think Baby, right? Not so! Look how adorable the dots make this card stand out? Love it! Thank you Michele P.

While we were in Michelle P.'s Stamp Studio, we also made these cards:

Fun day of stamping and chatting! Thank you, Michele!

I love the Stamp of the Month

This month's whimsical Stamp of the Month, A Flowering Bunch, is so much fun! I know I say that every month but seriously, this one is going to get lots of use. The flowers are so much fun . . . I just love the detailing in the flowers and leaves.

Here's a sample I made a few days ago:
I don't know why my camera is not taking better pictures. This one is too dark and the ones I took yesterday were all washed out. I guess I need to get the manual out and change some settings. LOL
At least you get the idea . . . I made some other samples but I'll get my camera figured out first. :-)

Have a happy stamping day!

Fall is finally here. The nights are a little cooler and the days find me grabbing a sweater before I leave the house. It also means Halloween is coming and I just love scrapbooking all those fun Halloween pictures.

This adorable frame was made by a talented scrapbooker at a recent crop I attended. I have, unfortunately, forgotten who created it so I can't give credit, but isn't it adorable?

The cute frame is made, using just the chipboard or front page  of the accordion style album. We cut the pages portion of the album off and then created our display page using permanent adhesive. The paper is Moonlight and all the accessories can be found in the accessory potion of the new catalog.

Do you have a new catalog? If not, give me an quick email and I can leave some on my porch. Feel free to take one for a friend. This issue of the idea book is full of creative scrapbook, cardmaking, and home decor ideas. It inspires me just flipping through the pages. So get yours today . . . it's free and will be available until they're gone!

Have a super scrapbooking day everyone!

Scare Those Crows!

I really love this month's Stamp of the Month. Not only does it have an adorable scarecrow, but it has darling pumpkins and a fun tag that would be perfect as a gift tag on the cookies you made for your neighbor . . . or Elaine. :-)

I also love the new paper, Clementine. The color combination makes it perfect for so many occasions and I love the stamp set that comes in the Workshops on the Go kit. This card is one of the bonus projects that come with the directions for the Clementine kit. So sweet.

The ribbon is the new burlap ribbon and the Good Times stamp set is from the stamp set that comes with the Clementine Workshop on the Go. So fun!

I also made the cute little purse mini album with the Clementine paper. I think I have to order another pack . . . my paper is almost gone. :-)

Mini Album is cut, using the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge, only available through Close To My Heart.

Happy stamping and creating in this wonderful month of National Stamping month!

Wickedly Awesome Stamp Deal

There are only a few more days left to take advantage of this awesome spooky Wicked Deal! This month you can not only get this stamp set for only $5 with a $50 order, but you'll receive the alphabet set shown to the right. Free stamps! Yeah!

The stamp set this month is called, Wicked . . . I love the witch, her stripey socks make me want some just like hers! And the kitty? Well, she's going to be good for other things besides Halloween, like birthday cards for my feline loving pals. I have already made a bunch of cards and then realized . . . oh, I need to wait for OCTOBER to be sending out spooky greetings. LOL

The best change to our stamping program (besides the lower price on all the stamps) is the complete guide to the projects that are shown with the Stamp of the Month at the back of the catalog. How does this work? Well, the CTMH Art Department have shared how they made all that beautiful artwork. Not just WHAT they used, but HOW they did it. Oh my, stamp lifting made even easier??? Sign me up!

This cute box is shown on the last page of the catalog, only it's shown open . . . go to the link from the CTMH website under the "Campaigns and Promotions" section and you can see exactly how it's been done. Yeah!

Happy Stamping and Crafting! Let me know if you *NEED* Wicked or anything else. :-)

Wicked Fun

I am LOVING the August Stamp of the Month . . . and maybe it's not just because it's called Wicked. It's no where near Halloween and yet, the stores are full of Halloween stuff already (and school hasn't even started). Heck, if I bought candy for the trick or treaters now, what would the chances of it still being here (or me finding it in October because I hid it in such a perfect place from myself that I can't find it) . . . yup, not a good idea.

So, instead I'm stamping witches and brooms and lots of scary stuff . . . including the cat, who, by the way, is NOT wicked. She's really cute and I just had the thought that she would make an adorable card . . . and I could make her have green eyes with some of my little jewels. OR I could make her spooky with some of the red ones.

this is a cute cat card
this is a real wicked cat
Oh, and the cat card was really fun to make because I cut the scallop shaped card out with my new CTMH Cricut cartridge. There are several really fun shaped cards, including circle cards which I love making, but are hard to cut out because, well, I failed cutting circles out in kindergarten. LOL

Okay, so apparently, I need to go make some more cards with my new Wicked stamp set. I hope it's not wicked of me to not make my family dinner because I'm too busy stamping. It's not Wicked if you make cute stuff, right?

This witch is NOT wicked!

Life was just never the same after that house fell on Glenda, the Good Witch's evil sister, in the infamous Wizard of Oz movie and that reminds me, the Stamp of the Month program will never be the boring, old same either.  You can still just buy the stamp, if you so desire, or spend just $50 and you can buy it for just $5 more. Pretty good deal, if I don't say so myself, but this month, it's even BETTER!

Spend $50 and buy the stamp set, Wicked for just $5 and get the Typeface (A size) font set for FREE! That's just wickedly awesome and such a great way to kick off the new catalog. But wait. There's more. (I sound like an infomercial now.)

If you go the www.closetomyheart.com and look under the Campaigns and Promotions subtitle and click on Stamp of the Month, It has directions and recipes for the ideas present at the back of the catalog. There's also a card included with the stamp set that has a close up picture of the projects. This is great news for lazy crafters like me, who love a great idea (that may or may not be my idea . . . mostly not) and I just hate having to guess what was used. Thank you, CTMH, for making it even faster, simplier, and easy! Love it!

Have yourself a wickedly witchy day!
